“Let her be born and handled warmly.”

For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow is Enuf is a choreo-poem consisting of multiple poetic monologues, centered around the experiences, joys, tragedies, and depths of emotion that black and women of color face. Through the performance of each actress, styled in a color of the rainbow, it invites audiences to interrogate multiple issues presented within these narratives. It should be noted that due to internal issues this production only featured a cast of five, though the full script was still presented.
